I’ve run DAZ on 256 mb of RAM for years. It is fairly stable, but renders are slow.

Honestly, I can’t tell you if those exist. I prefer to learn hands-on and basically use on-line sources to learn anything I can’t figure out.

Renderosity.com has massive freebies. digitalbabes2.com, sharecg.com and there are lots of sources listed in the forums at the DAZ3D site. I HIGHLY recommend their Platinum Club. It’s reasonably priced per month and they give lots of freebies, one per month, in fact.
