New User Project: Terranova
Dragos Jieanu is a 26 years old Romanian artist. After a good friend of his showed him what Vue was capable of (through the “Pirates of the Caribbeans” spotlight), Dragos decided to give Vue a shot and since then never looked back. The Terranova image was born after Dragos decided to attempt a full 3D Matte Painting rather than doing it in 2D with photo-based collages. To create his stunning environments, Dragos uses a combination of 3Ds Max, Photoshop and Vue 6 Infinite. >> Read all about the making of this project in the User Projects section.

With this title you will learn how to modify the leaves and bark textures, how to optimize Vue’s render engine for close up tree renders, and a lot more.
