Newest 3D Work

Daz Studio has improved a great deal over the past few years, Ill have to admit, its even “comparable” now to Poser 5, w/ the included plugins that is… For me now w/ C7Pro, I honestly wont be needing either, as C7Pro uses my Poser Content directly, and that I can pose, dress and manipulate characters w/i C7Pro is just too awesome for me. Admittedly, I am only in it for the content, LOL =D
The Poser/Bryce scene has changed so much, making me feel old =B So many new features, programs and advances, it can be overwhelming. I like knowing how to use everything, but Im still the type to condense what programs I use. I hear of people using a combo of 3D Studio max, Silo and then ZBrush for a model… Thats serious overkill. If you like Daz Studio, stick w/ it, youll only improve on what you can do in it.
Im curious, do you own the “Figure Set-Up” tools?!? Do you or did you ever feel a need to increase the functionality of Daz Studio?

I think I still have Poser 5 on the machine. The problem is I can’t stand using it. I’ve tried using it for hours and hours and never got anything worth rendering. To me the interface is clunky and it’s a lot more technical and feature rich than my brain can handle. DAZ, on the other hand, I was able to pretty much immediately compose something and get it rendered within a couple of hours of exploring the program. From what I saw of Poser 6, the interface hasn’t improved any.
